Production Assistant

Job Summary:

Production Assistant will assist to oversee the production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist with day-to-day production operations, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, on time, and meet brand quality standards.
  2. Support inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating restocking, and maintaining accurate production and inventory records.
  3. Perform basic quality control checks to ensure products adhere to brand standards.
  4. Collaborate with the team to organize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and assist with production planning for upcoming runs.
  5. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to coordinate deliveries and manage materials efficiently.
  6. Support administrative and operational tasks related to production while maintaining discretion with sensitive business information and assisting with reporting on production performance.
  7. Maintaining quality standards
  8. Ensure that final product meets quality standards and customers’ specifications
  9. Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards
  10. Come up with waste reduction methods and implement during production Management
  11. Updating job cards for Supervisors and operators, establish monthly reviews and adhere to review standards
  12. Daily reporting to the operations manager
  13. Monthly System/Stock Count with Variance report to be submitted on email by 3rd of every month
  14. Monthly Variance explanation report to be submitted on email by the 8th of every month. System Lock out on the 3rd of every month for the previous month.
  15. Update of Daily Production Report (OEE, Cost, Kg….) by Production Clerk
  16. Incident Report (Breakdown/Injury/Machine not Running/Under performance Break through discussion

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Printing Engineering, Operations, or Business Administration.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the printing industry.
