About the role

The Production technician is responsible for assembling and testing the roam air or roam air sub assemblies before they are delivered to the immediate customer . Their role requires a responsible person that will make sure that the roam air is working exactly as intended, and is free of defects or other issues. The Production technician will work as part of a larger team, frequently interacting with manufacturing and Quality Assurance personnel.

Key Duties and responsibilities

• Must exhibit a passion for producing quality, dependable work.
• Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly
• Ability to check for defects and identify and distinguish between correct and wrong assembly parts is a MUST
• Experience in a start-up or pilot production environment
• Average written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to read and carefully follow instructions
• Ability to understand and interpret diagrammatic Work Instruction
• Excellent attention to detail and good organization
• Capable of working independently to a production schedule
• Basic Computer skills

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Motor or Electrical engineering(City and Guild qualified technicians are highly encouraged to apply) and or
• Minimum 1 years working experience in vehicle assembly industry
