The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation was established through a Legal Gazette Notice No. 265 of 1986 as a State Corporation with the aim of promoting forest conservation by providing buffer zones of tea and assorted tree species to check against human encroachment into the forestland.

Job Specification

Duties and responsibilities will entail Assisting in:

• Carrying out planned Electrical preventive and corrective maintenance;
• Undertaking Electrical maintenance of machines;
• Carrying out Electrical works;
• Maintaining a safe working environment; and
• Generating Electrical maintenance records.

Person Specifications

• For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
• Diploma in any of the following Engineering disciplines: – Electrical or other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
• Been a member of a relevant Professional body;
• Valid Annual Practicing License from the Engineers Board of Kenya; and
• Proficiency in computer application skills.
