Services Required:

  • Category: Consultancy services for baseline focusing on establishing quantities GHG emissions as a result of agricultural activities- majorly export crop production and related activities. The targeted crops include snow peas, sugar snap, French beans and Fresh chillies. The consultancy will also recommend methodologies of measuring and tracking avoided emissions from the mitigation strategies applied by the project.

Interested firms/individuals should provide the following information, and mandatory documents to the Contracting Authority;

  • The company’s/ individual statutory documents (Certificate of registration or incorporation, business permit, KRA Pin and tax compliance certificate)
  • The company’s name and contact details and a brief description of the company’s background (company profile).
  • Summary qualifications of the team members, demonstrating academic qualifications in Climate/environmental/agricultural/development studies (master’s level) (1 – 2 pages)
  • Provide a brief (2 pager) outlining proven experience[1] in undertaking similar assignments CO2 emissions, in Kenya. This should include details of similar work completed in the past two years. The brief should also demonstrate experience working in projects involving private sector actors, (preferably international and local companies, and engaging small holder farmers.
  • Reference letters/contacts from your past or current clients/assignments
