Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Projects Coordinator, the Project Intern will be responsible for efficient running of the Foundation’s project office and other administrative functions. This is an exciting and challenging role with opportunity for growth, skill enhancement and networking.

Responsibilities for the Project Internship

  • Provide administrative and office support for the Foundation ;
  • Maintaining an efficient office filing system and management of general office correspondences;
  • Preparation of contracts, MOUs and project documentation under Project Coordinator’s guidance;
  • Provide logistical support during field training and outreach events including venue booking, arrangements, and handout preparation;
  • Procurement of office supplies and project materials as per standard operating procedures;
  • Maintain stakeholder database with contacts and important information;
  • Support in data collection for monitoring and evaluation;
  • Process and account for travel advances and other project activity costs;
  • Assist in preparation of periodic narrative and financial reports for projects;
  • Assist in preparation and dissemination of reports, newsletters etc
  • Undertake any other tasks which may be assigned by the Supervising officer.

Qualifications for the Project Internship

  • Degree in Business Administration or other relevant field of study;
  • Interest in working in the development or NGO sector;
  • Work experience especially in social impact is an added advantage;
  • Computer literacy: MS Office Suite especially MS Excel
  • Basic accounting knowledge

  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Self-starter who can work independently;
  • Skill in establishing priorities and managing workload;
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player;
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • This contract will be an internship for an initial period of 6 months with possibility of extension.
