Job Description

Corporate Staffing Services is a leading recruitment agency in Kenya providing complete recruitment services. In the last ten years we have been partners to local and foreign businesses looking to hire Kenyan professionals. We have recruited for diverse clients in different sectors and industries.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing attendance, sick leave and holidays of employees
  • Managing the recruitment process of new employees (creating job profiles, sourcing candidates through different channels, pre-screening of candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, selecting the most suitable candidate together with the corresponding department heads)
  • Managing and developing induction process for new employees, as well as leave process for employees exiting the company
  • Drafting employee contracts and gathering all necessary documentation from new hires
  • Onboarding new employees to the company and handling all related administrative tasks
  • Keeping track of employees’ performance and KPIs, as well as conducting performance review meetings with employees and respective department heads
  • Onboarding employees to the health insurance
  • Ensuring seamless collaboration with external parties such as HR recruiting companies
  • Managing employees’ files and documentation in Nextcloud
  • Keeping track of birthdays of all employees in the company
  • Planning teambuilding events and other festivities
  • Executing additional administrative tasks

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business degree with a focus on Human Resource Management.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an HR & Admin role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Good communication skills and excellent proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with ERP-Systems (e.g. Microsoft Navision Dynamics)
  • Must be well conversant with the labour laws and ethical HR practices.
  • Must be a Member of IHRM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility – be open to change and new information.
  • Knowledge on labor laws and government regulations that concern workplaces and employment matters.
  • Diligence, Integrity and consistence in your follow ups
  • To be a team player and coordinate tasks within the team
  • Ability to meet timelines, highly developed sense of initiative and representation of the company Rational and critical thinking in decision making in line with company policies
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest level of ethics and confidentiality in handling employee’s data
