Job Description

The business is owned by the Pandit family and was founded by the late Mr. Lalit Pandit. The core business of the group companies is property development and management, contracting, project, and facility management.

Project Officer

As Projects Officer, you’ll support the Facilities Manager to plan, deliver, and close capital works, refurbishments, fit-outs, lifecycle replacements, and asset upgrades. Your focus will be ensuring every project meets best-practice standards in scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, safety, and stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, track, and control projects with precision — from WBS and baseline schedules to budgets and risk registers.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and internal teams while leading site meetings and progress reviews.
  • Enforce rigorous QA/QC, safety, and compliance standards, ensuring all statutory approvals (NCA, DOSHS/OSHA, NEMA, EPRA, Nairobi County) are secured.
  • Drive value for money through smart procurement, cost control, and technical oversight.
  • Deliver sustainability outcomes, from energy efficiency initiatives to waste reduction projects.
  • Maintain seamless communication with tenants, landlords, and internal teams to minimise disruption and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination/delivery within property, facilities, or real estate.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with Kenyan regulatory frameworks (NCA, OSHA/DOSHS, Fire Risk Reduction Rules, NEMA, EPRA).
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, IOSH/NEBOSH, or energy/sustainability credentials (preferred).
  • Valid driving licence with flexibility to travel across multiple sites.
