Women4Cancer is a national non-profit organization that advocates for a cervical cancer free Kenya. We advocate for an effective cervical cancer response through prevention, early detection and access to treatment. Women4Cancer seeks to recruit a Project Officer for its HPV Vaccination Program who will be responsible for substantive organizational and administrative project management support.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Project Coordinator in management of the STOP Cervical Cancer Initiative technical working group and its activities; support follow up of outputs, including the organizing of the internal tasks arising from related meetings to their conclusion.
  2. Support the Project Coordinator with the planning, organization, reporting (financial and narrative) and implementation of projects under the HPV vaccination program.
  • Support activities relating to project monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning.
  1. Assist in the planning and organizing of gatherings, meetings and visits in the context of projects both in Nairobi, at county level and abroad, as and when needed.
  2. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project team. vi. Support program communications through content development for social media and mainstream media consumption.
  • Provide support and input into drafting and design of project proposals and reports.
  • Resource mobilization for Women4Cancer’s HPV vaccine Project.
  1. Organize or provide assistance in organizing Women4Cancer fundraising events.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field.

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience within an NGO context.

Knowledge of project management and experience in community health.

Experience working in a multi-project donor environment.

Good command of oral and written English and Kiswahili.

Knowledge and experience in developing content for media.

Experience in collecting and organizing of complex and technical HPV related information.

Experience in planning and logistical organization of events, activities and meetings.  Demonstrated track record in non-profit fundraising.
