Radiographer/Sonographer

About Us:

  • Nairobi Women’s Hospital is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality medical services with a focus on excellence and innovation. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiographer/Sonographer to join our Mombasa branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality X-rays and ultrasound imaging services in line with established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for radiological and ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Analyze and interpret imaging results to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues for timely resolution.
  • Ensure proper documentation, storage, and retrieval of radiology records.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients about the procedures and address any concerns they may have.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and audits.
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiology and ultrasound technologies through continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Radiography/Medical Imaging Sciences from a recognized institution.
  • Registration and a valid practicing license from the Radiation Protection Board of Kenya.
  • At least 2 years of experience performing X-rays and ultrasounds in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in operating modern imaging equipment and software.
