Receptionist / Front Office Assistant

Nexus Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of its client for a Receptionist / Front Office Assistant to support daily administrative and front office operations.

The Receptionist / Front Office Assistant will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling visitors, coordinating communication, supporting basic sales activities, and ensuring a welcoming and organized office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, welcome, and direct visitors and clients professionally
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls using a multi-line switchboard
  • Handle correspondence across social media platforms (Website, Facebook, Instagram, X, WhatsApp)
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
  • Maintain proper filing systems and records management
  • Photocopy, scan, bind, and ensure quality of documents
  • Prepare and serve office tea and support hospitality during meetings
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderly arrangement of office equipment and furniture
  • Support walk-in customer engagement and contribute to sales growth
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Diary Science & Technology, Animal Health, Soil Science, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Certificate in Business, Customer Service, PR, or Administration is an added advantage
  • At least 2–3 years’ relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Digital marketing skills are an added advantage
  • Valid driving or motorcycle licence is an added advantage
