Receptionist / Front Office Assistant

About the Role

Our client based in Githunguri, Kiambu is seeking to recruit a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist / Front Office Assistant. The role holder will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors and will provide administrative and front office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, welcome, and direct visitors and clients professionally
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and office correspondence
  • Handle front office administration including filing, record keeping, and documentation
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services
  • Support office operations including photocopying, scanning, binding, and document preparation
  • Ensure the reception area and office spaces are neat, orderly, and well-organized
  • Assist with hospitality arrangements for staff and meetings
  • Support basic office coordination tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Customer Service, or a related field
  • Certificate in Customer Service, Public Relations, or Administration is an added advantage
  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in a receptionist or front office role
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and general computer applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-presented, professional, and customer-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
  • Certificate of Good Conduct will be an added advantage
