Job Description

To be a world-class film content regulator. Mission To safeguard the national values and norms through efficient, effective and professional film regulatory services. OUR MANDATE The Kenya Film Classification Board, a state corporation under the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts is mandated by Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222 of Laws of Kenya to regulate the creation, broadcasting, possession, distribution and exhibition of films in the country with a view to promote national values and morality

REF: KFCB/HR/10/2023

Work at this level will entail:

  • Ensuring that letters are appropriately filed and marked to action officers;
  • Controlling and opening of files and updating file index;
  • Ensuring security of information/files in the registry;
  • Up-dating and maintaining up-to-date file movement records; and
  • Ensuring the general cleanliness of the registry.

Job Specification

For appointment to this grade, an officer must:-

  • Have a Diploma in any of the following: Records Management, Information Management, Information Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Be proficient in computer applications; and
  • Have fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution
