Job Description

Gap Recruitment Services Limited is a leading recruitment firm in Kenya where International and local companies find just the right fit talent.

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successful recruitment, with a strong understanding of recruitment strategies and practices. The Mid-Level Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing offers and closing deals. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Identify and source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and fit
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits packages
  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate background checks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and job information in the applicant tracking system
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment progress
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and events to attract and retain top talent
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to recruitment and employment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a recruiter in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of successful recruitment for various roles and levels
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, including sourcing, interviewing, and assessment techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment-related software
  • Experience in employer branding and social media recruitment strategies is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
