Registered Nurse

  • This is a full-time, on-site role in Nairobi for a Bariatric Nurse & Client Care Associate. This position blends clinical nursing responsibilities with hands-on patient coordination and follow-up.
  • You will play a central role in the patient journey — from preparation for procedures to long-term post-procedure support. You will also help manage the endoscopy unit and serve as a key contact point for patient concerns.
  • This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys continuity of care, patient interaction, and being deeply involved in life-changing health journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical & Endoscopy Support
  • Prepare patients for gastric balloon and bariatric procedures
  • Assist during endoscopic procedures when required
  • Maintain and sterilize endoscopy equipment
  • Ensure the endoscopy unit is well-organized and fully stocked
  • Patient Journey & Client Care
  • Guide patients through pre- and post-procedure expectations
  • Provide structured follow-ups for balloon and surgery patients
  • Respond to patient concerns and escalate medical issues appropriately
  • Act as a bridge between patients and the bariatric doctor
  • Deliver empathetic, high-quality support throughout the journey
  • Coordination & Administration
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Support scheduling and coordination with psychotherapy/nutrition teams
  • Contribute to smooth clinic operations and patient flow
  • Occasionally support patient education events or outreach

Who We’re Looking For

  • A licensed Registered Nurse in Kenya
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Compassionate and calm when handling patient concerns
  • Comfortable with frequent patient interaction and follow-ups
  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Experience in bariatric, surgical, or endoscopy settings is an advantage
