Job Description

  • DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a remote Scheduler to join our team for a new data collection project in Kenya! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology.

Role Summary

The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling participants for onsite data collection. The Scheduler will communicate with potential participants via phone or email, as well as screen them based on defined criteria, and schedule them based on their availability. The Scheduler is also responsible for responding to pre-study participant questions, and pre-study follow-up to encourage attendance and minimize no-shows. The Scheduler is the main face of our team to people participating in this onsite study.

Role Responsibilities

  • Validation of candidates via phone calls according to project requirements
  • Checking candidate availability for the project
  • Answering candidates’ questions
  • Providing logistic information
  • Scheduling candidates for a session time
  • Filling out the session schedule days in advance
  • Remind Participants of upcoming appointments
  • Communicate changes to participants
  • Act as Liaison between participants and Project manager
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur

Job Requirements

  • Idiomatic fluency in Swahili
  • Able to work a flexible schedule as needed
  • Experience working in a call center or handling a high volume of calls, is a plus
  • Computer competency for data entry and the creation of reports and schedules
  • Experience working as a company team member
  • Resilient personality; must look for opportunities to adjust through applied feedback, and must be able to shift focuses quickly
  • Must possess outstanding customer service and excellent communication skills including phone, email, and electronic media communications
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented
  • Clerical or administrative experience is a plus
  • Must be positive and professional
  • Ability to manage multiple calls
  • Excellent Multitasker
  • Availability to work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
