Risk and Compliance Officer

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (or progress toward one) such as CPA, CRISC, CAMS, ACAMS, or ICA Diploma in Compliance is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ overall work experience in a financial services environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Risk, Compliance, Audit, or AML/CFT is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the microfinance sector is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in a bank, microfinanceinstitution (MFI), digital lender, or SACCO is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements is an added advantage.
  • Candidates from the broader financial services sector with the ability to learn quickly are also encouraged to apply.
