Job Description

Safaricom Investment Co-operative (S.I.C.) was set up in 2009 under the Co-operatives Act Cap 490 to pursue joint investments for its members and has been in real estate space since its inception.

About The Role 

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Land Sales Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales background. As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for identifying potential buyers, showcasing properties, and facilitating successful sales transactions particularly on SIC Projects in the Eldoret Area.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement effective strategies and tactics for achieving set targets.
  • Communicate with clients to identify their requirements and choice of property.
  • Participate in the promotion of property sales on advertisement media and listing services.
  • Coordinate with respective clients, the closing of property deals to ensure vital documents are signed and payment received.
  • In liaison with the sales admin, participate in the preparation and approval of documents such as Offer Letters, Sales agreements, Lease contracts and Transfer Documentation.
  • Provide periodic reports to company management on sales operations and generated returns using the SIC CRM system.
  • Conduct surveys to identify price of competing properties on land and housing market.
  • Participate in seminars, conferences, and events to improve on existing job knowledge and expand personal network.
  • Present SIC image and live the prescribed values.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence with Property Laws and SIC%u2019s policies and procedures when conducting property sales.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in real estate sales, preferably land sales
  • Strong knowledge of the Eldoret property market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver%u2019s license and ability to travel as needed.
