Job Description

Ilara Health brings accurate and affordable diagnostics to the 500 million people in Africa who today struggle to access a simple blood test. We distribute low-cost, AI-powered diagnostic devices directly to primary care doctors in peri-urban and rural clinics, where the availability of common diagnostics is very poor. Our proprietary software integrates all the devices that we distribute and enables the doctor to provide effective patient management. We use technology to bring light to a dark world of healthcare in a similar way technology has leapfrogged landlines, banking and electricity grids.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the sales agent day to day schedules
  • Hiring: Build and expand a team of high productivity commission based sales agents
  • Train, retraining, and coaching of the agents on a recurring basis
  • Come up with, build business cases for, and implement creative tactical adhoc incentives for the sales agents
  • Ensuring that the sales agents achieve their set individual targets
  • Ensure that the sales agents adhere to proper documentation and handling of the administrative work involved in the on-boarding of new facilities.
  • Work with the sales agents, supporting them in closing sales
  • Responsible for reporting on the sales agent performance
  • Support the sales management in recruitment, hiring and training of the sales agents

Who You Are

  • High school degree or equivalent;
  • 4+ years’ previous experience in sales, sales management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results
  • Basic computer skills and experience with recording customer information/leads;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the market
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Linguistic capabilities: Swahili, and English
