Sales Coordinator

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the sales team by managing daily operations and ensuring that products are available and well-presented. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining smooth communication between the sales team, customers, and other departments, helping to maximize sales performance and improve the customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide support to customers by answering questions about product availability, pricing, and features.
  • Help prepare and track sales reports, including sales targets, performance metrics, and customer activity.
  • Ensure that store displays are well-organized and stocked, and coordinate with stock supervisor to maintain product availability.
  • Handle sales inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales manager to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data to identify trends and assist with planning.
  • Organize and schedule sales meetings, staff training, and other team-related activities.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and customer service standards.
  • Assist with cash register operations and ensure the accurate processing of transactions when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail or sales support, preferably in a retail store environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with retail management systems (Microsoft Retail Management System, NEXX).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in sales tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing demands.
  • Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a retail or customer service role, with a focus on sales coordination.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock replenishment.
  • Familiarity with sales strategies and techniques.
  • Ability to assist with visual merchandising and store organization.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts to accommodate shop needs.
