Job Description

Chenex Consulting is looking to expand into Kenya by recruiting sales people in Kisumu & Nairobi. The successful candidates will be the brand ambassadors of this innovative enterprise in the two locations.

Chenex Consulting builds custom enterprise software solving business solutions innovatively and affordably.

Job Summary: As a sales executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for fostering customer retention, executing business development strategies, and advancing brand building efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Implement sales strategies to exceed revenue targets, analyze market trends, and close leads across all channels.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong customer relationships, resolve issues, and collaborate with marketing for aligned messaging.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, expand market presence, and network at industry events.
  • Sales Support & Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, provide sales tools, track performance metrics, and refine sales pitches.
  • Brand Building: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring sales activities align with company values and enhancing market visibility.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of [4] years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Proven experience in a sales and marketing role, preferably within the software development industry.
  • Experience in technology and B2B sales is a plus.

  • Exceptional personal leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a metrics-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Creative writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling emails and sales pitches.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Customer-focused attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong drive for results, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend events, and support business development efforts.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
