Job Description

Master Power Systems Limited (MPSL) came into inception in 2001 and is now a leading engineering and contracting company specialized in designing and executing electrical works, with the main focus being in the corporate market strong minded in providing quality service. Today, MPSL has grown and works on electrical installation projects all over Kenya, Uganda and it is spreading far across East and Central Africa. With highly experienced staff of about 250 on payroll and 400 casual staff, we have the capacity to deliver the best. We are continuously striving to expand our operations by diversifying geographical risks and consequently we have opened up an office in Mombasa and Kampala, Uganda.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the achievement of allocated annual sales targets by proactively and rigorously engaging in sales activities.
  • Providing information feedback to the Production In Charge on customer requirements and competitor activity in the region.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and maintaining up-to-date information regarding new initiatives, prices, promotions, and new product listings.
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing quotations to customers.
  • Gathering Market and Customer information.
  • Management of Sales and Order records and updating the production department accordingly.
  • Ensuring Sales performance and aiming to meet and/or exceed targets.
  • Monitoring the market, current trends, and competitors’ activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales and marketing experience in selling uPVC / HDPE Pipes and fittings is a must.
  • A degree in sales, marketing, or business-related fields will be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of success in sales of the Pipes/building materials industry.
  • A strong hold of Water project contractors / Hardware stores will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to effectively overcome objections and secure sales deals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the PVC pipe industry, including an understanding of product specifications, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients across the city / Country.
  • License of Motor bike will be added advantage.
