Sales Executive

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Commercial and Technical Expert for pharmaceutical customers.
  • Provide support to existing customers with current product offerings while driving the development of new portfolios and projects.
  • Assess and identify the application potential of existing products.
  • Manage and oversee the successful launch of new products into the market.
  • Develop strategies to ensure consistent and competitive positioning of products and niche offerings.
  • Provide continuous technical support for existing product lines.
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales growth targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders in purchasing and R&D departments.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, comparing current and upcoming products with key competitors in the market.
  • Organize events and initiatives that engage both sales organizations and technical services teams.
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager to contribute to the overall Marketing Plan.
  • Participate in business trips to meet with partners, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or any equivalent degree
  • Holder of a valid Pharmacist License from the Pharmacy & Poisons Board (PPB) of Kenya
  • B2B sales experience in selling pharmaceutical ingredients in a chemical distribution company
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong commercial and market orientation
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment
  • Valid driving license
