Sales Lead

  • As we scale, we are seeking an experienced Sales Lead to drive revenue growth, own the sales strategy, and build strong relationships across the solar value chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Keru Solar’s sales strategy for solar products and solutions.
  • Drive sales of hybrid inverters, lithium-ion batteries, and C&I energy solutions.
  • Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of installers, EPCs, and commercial clients.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and customers.
  • Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close high-value deals.
  • Track sales performance, prepare forecasts, and report to management.
  • Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams to ensure customer success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling solar products and/or solar energy solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and C&I solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Renewable Energy, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Strong proposal writing and CRM reporting skills.
