Job Description

The Beginning Roam was founded in 2017 just as electric mobility was taking off, when electric cars were just arriving on our streets. Roam vision is to make electric transport more accessible to a broader market by making the technology more cost efficient and simplifying deployment

About the role:

We are looking for an After Sales Logistics Manager to join our Aftersales Team. The logistics Manager will play an integral role in creating spare part demand forecasts, ensuring availability of spare parts at all service locations, controlling the consumption and managing transportation fleet as well as setup partnerships with external partners who will support Roam with the last mile distribution.

The job will require close collaboration with Supply chain, Roam Hubs, Procurement and Field operations.

Key Duties and responsibilities:

Spare part forecasting

  • Develop accurate spare parts forecasting tool.
  • Communicate Aftersales specific spare part bundles to supply chain.
  • Develop Aftersales packing system.

Stock control and replenishment

  • Ensure stock movements at Aftersales stock points are accurate reported.
  • Organize transport from Aftersales main warehouse to partners and stock points.
  • Organize reverse logistics movements.
  • Identify and manage relationships with local logistic partners.

Fleet management

  • Ensure effective use of internal vehicles.
  • Ensure availability and service of internal transport fleet.
  • Organize the driver’s schedule to provide max. uptime of towing services.

Skills and Knowledge, specifically needed for the position:

  • Technical and overall knowledge in regards of Electric bikes, Electric Vehicles, Energy Systems and Charging Infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge in 5S, Kaizen and LEAN methodologies.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3+ years experience in supply chain preferably in the automotive or electric mobility industry.
  • Knowledge of Supply chain best practices, inventory management principles, and logistics operations.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
