Job Description

Antal International is a global executive recruitment organisation with over 130 offices in more than 30 countries.

Position Overview:

As the Sales Manager for Plastics in East Africa, you will be responsible for driving sales, conducting market studies, and reporting on market trends. You will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize growth and profitability in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Conduct market studies to identify new opportunities and trends in the plastics industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and principals.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Willingness to travel to Dubai & Saudi Arabia to meet principals and attend meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in plastic raw material sales.
  • Experience with international plastics distributors is considered an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the plastics industry, market dynamics, and trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
