In support of youth empowerment and capacity building, Girwa Radio 99.5FM invites applications for our January 2026 to March 2026 Industrial Attachment Intake. This programme offers continuing students hands-on experience, professional exposure, mentorship, and practical training in a real broadcast environment.

Duration of Attachment

The attachment period will run for a non-renewable three (3) months, from 2nd January 2026 to 31st March 2026.

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

• Relevance of course/programme of study
• The station’s ability to accommodate trainees
• Availability of attachment facilities and slots
• Strictly first-come, first-served basis
• Year of study (3rd & 4th year for undergraduate students; 2nd year for Diploma students)

Note: Girwa Radio 99.5FM has only 10 attachment slots available for this intake.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a continuing 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or 2nd year Diploma student from a recognized institution.
• Complete the online application form indicating their department of interest.
• Attach a recommendation letter from their University or College.
• Attach a copy of National ID/Passport.
• Provide proof of registration for the Attachment/Practicum unit.
• Payment of attachment Training fee.
