Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Officer to lead our sales and marketing efforts and drive the growth of Astradental Services Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, relevant experience in sales and marketing services, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans aligned with Astradental’s business objectives, targeting specific patient demographics and geographic areas.
  • Cultivate and maintain the Astradental brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Implement digital marketing initiatives, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media marketing, email campaigns, and online reputation management.
  • Conduct traditional marketing efforts such as print advertising, direct mail campaigns, and community outreach programs to enhance brand visibility and attract new patients.
  • Conduct market research to identify patient needs, competitor strategies, and industry trends. Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Develop strategies to attract new patients while fostering patient loyalty and retention through effective communication, patient engagement initiatives, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, special offers, and events to drive patient engagement and increase clinic visibility in the local community.
  • Establish partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and healthcare providers to expand Astradental’s network and reach new patient demographics.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations, including patient privacy laws and advertising standards as prescribed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), marketing metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing roles, Experience within the health sector is a key advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry including trends, regulations, competitive landscape, and patient demographics. (Knowledge of dental industry is an added advantage.)
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including website management, SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Experience in brand positioning, and identity management, with a keen eye for maintaining brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research, analyse data, and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset, with a focus on understanding patient needs, preferences, and behaviours to drive patient acquisition and retention.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate marketing strategies, initiatives, and results to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to embrace innovation and adapt to changing market dynamics, technologies, and consumer trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to achieve marketing objectives and drive business success.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA), and advertising standards relevant to the dental industry.
