Job Description

PFL is a member of Industrial Promotion Services (K) Ltd (IPS) group of companies, which is the industrial and infrastructure arm of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED), an international development agency dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and building economically sound enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa as well as Central and Southern Asia.

Sales Representatives– (2 Positions)

We are looking to hire a Sales Representatives who will be based in Nairobi and Nyanza Regions.
The Sales Representatives will ensure effective sales, marketing planning and drive the company to set revenue targets while focusing on implementing the business route to market strategy.
The main duties and responsibilities for these positions entail: –

  • Focusing on growing volume and revenue in key assigned general trade market segment.
  • Identifying market opportunities to implement effective market penetration strategy that will yield volume, revenue and profit.
  • Managing consistently high service level in the trade to ensure company and customer atisfaction.
  • Conducting monthly business review meetings to keep track of performance and customer financial health.
  • Building relationships with distributors and customers to support sales and brand building agenda.
  • Managing returns effectively and efficiently and taking corrective actions in-order to reduce financial losses to the company.
  • Adhering to journey plans and ensuring timely delivery of customer’s order.
  • Ensuring zero stock outs by liaising with production team to verify products stock levels.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: –

  • Degree in business related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in route to market sales in FMCG industry with good market knowledge.
  • Energetic, aggressive with personal selling experience with wide sales network.
