WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Strategic Partnering: Provide strategic financial leadership to the Supply Chain team in developing long term sourcing strategy, dynamic sourcing changes, resiliency programs, best-in-class costing to build significant competitive advantage for the business. Ownership for providing sound accounting and financial processes which seamlessly support the Supply Chain business objectives, strategies and organizational structure.
  • Performance Management: Actively contributing to driving profitability, managing risks and challenging the business teams, managing costs & profit drivers across Supply Chain; reviewing actuals vs forecasts and flagging issues to promote accountability and sending early warning signals to drive opportunities & mitigate risks. Lead on the development and use of data analytics to drive insights with a key focus on costs.
  • Product cost: Lead analysis and understand the impact of commodities price movement, and exchange rates to the cost and margin. Work closely with Procurement, Production & GTM teams on Purchase price review and analysis, understand the drivers of the cost movement, perform cost benchmarking and drive accountability on delivery of mitigating actions.
  • Cost Savings: Influence cost conscious culture into all cross functional teams, provide full visibility into cost to serve and best in class benchmarking and work closely with all business teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Development) on new project, eg: new sourcing, alternative sourcing, cost saving project, Capex investment, new business flow, etc). Drive business case reviews, analysis of the cost and profitability, understanding each component of the cost, challenging the price and cost necessarily.
  • Controls, Risk Management & oversight: Drive the embedding of key controls within Supply Chain to eliminate wastage and leakages by driving process documentation and regular review and monitoring to identify potential control risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Innovation & Capex: Lead innovation partnering process, including analysis of new business opportunities and Projects via business case preparation, strategize profitable business models, financial flow modelling, recommend best cost to serve model and risk mitigation. Drive development of financial framework to track post launch evaluation, make recommendation to delivery better KPIs. Design framework to track capex invested.
  • Supply Chain Finance capabilities: Lead the development of new digital capabilities & analytical capabilities giving the Supply Chain team tools to operate with high levels of efficiency & effectiveness. Determine and implement the systems, processes and analysis that provides the cross functional teams with consistent and comparable operational and financial data visibility.
  • Finance agenda & People Development:  Drive performance management, career planning, development planning and succession planning for team and self. Lead & drive the learning agenda within Supply Chain Finance, ensure the teams are well motivated, energized and upskilled to be a highly effective team supporting a fast paced and growing business.
  • Integrated business planning: Lead supply chain annual budgeting by engaging procurement manager on material cost projections, Production manager on factory budget and logistics manager on distribution budgets.

Requirements

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Overall 8-10 years working experience in Finance and preferably experience in various roles covering business controls, Business Partnering, Procurement, Financial analysis, Risk Management and Compliance.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related area
  • Professional qualification in accounting e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CIA, CPA etc is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of operational & Financial processes including but not limited to costing and transfer pricing, Financial Accounting, capex management & Master data management
  • Commercial Support & Decision support through preparation of financial models & ROI Analysis
  • Strong analytical capabilities with bias to drive action
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills, SAP & BW operational knowledge
  • Knowledge on reporting tools like Power BI
