Job Description

The Kenyan Alliance Insurance is a leading Insurance and Financial Services Company offering a wide range of financial products and services in insurance. The product range includes life and general insurance, pensions, investment planning, wealth management, retirement planning and medical insurance.

As part of our growth strategy, the Company seeks to recruit a dynamic, passionate, innovative and result orientated professional to the below position;

Main Purpose of the Job- (Job Summary)

The role holder is responsible for driving and supporting growth of life business through the channels in Group Life Business.

Main Responsibilities

  • In charge of handling all aspects of business channels in Group Life Business.
  • In charge of training for all business channels in Group Life Business.
  • Presentation of the Company’s products and services to prospective clients
  • Development of training and marketing materials
  • Creating relationship with business supporters
  • Coordinating renewals for client’s policies
  • Undertaking Risk Management programs for clients
  • Obtaining market intelligence
  • Building client relationship
  • Carrying out competitor analysis
  • Ensure premiums collection is done through the channels
  • Ensure promotional materials are available
  • Managing complaints and customer feedback{for business retention}
  • Effectively manage and motivate tided agents in the organization and ensure that the agents have the necessary skills and experience to perform their roles and team cohesion is maintained
  • Solicit and retain business that is profitable to the company, maintain a positive corporate image of the company and uphold the tenets of the company’s mission statement and core values.
  • Ensure independent agents comply with the company’s policies rules and regulation.
  • Any other duty as may be given from time to time.

Knowledge & Experience

The candidate must demonstrate and possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Insurance or other relevant field
  • 3 years’ experience in Sales
  • In depth understanding of the marketing of Group life insurance
  • Good marketing, communication and presentation skill
  • Good knowledge of the insurance business
  • Passionate, confident, energetic and proactive.
