Summary

The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible to develop the Grundfos CBS market by both maintaining existing customers but also activating unserved market within East Africa. The person reasonable needs to action a road map to develop a resilient business mold to service the CBS East Africa Market.

What is the job about?

Overall, your tasks will cover:

  • Visit Key stakeholders such as buying and non buying customers
  • Market Activation with the CBS market in East Africa
  • Manage Marketing Activities
  • Develop established growth strategies
  • Build and grow customer relationships
  • Apply an understanding of target markets, products, and applications and bring added value and resources to the sales process resulting in gains in market share
  • Develop positive relationships with key policy makers at existing and target accounts in coordination and collaboration with local sales management
  • Support all aspects of the sales process and contribute to ensuring that Grundfos delivers a maximum value proposition to the account
  • Contribute to developing and taking the lead in growing and supporting global agreements that are aligned with their specific focus area and key customers
  • Contribute to mutually beneficial process improvement and productivity gains at account level and within global agreement frameworks
  • Register all activities with customers in the global CRM tool
  • Register and create opportunities in the global CRM tool according to company guidelines
  • Ensure customer master data is updated on portfolio of customers under their responsibility

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least 6 years of experience in hydraulic market working with technical sales handling HVAC consultants, MEP contractors, plumbing and firefighting etc.
  • Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area.
  • Great ability influence others and possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for the Commercial Building Services (CBS)
