Tana River County is one of the forty seven (47) counties in the Republic of Kenya. The County takes its name from River Tana which is the longest river in Kenya. It is a County in the former Coast Province, Kenya with an area of 35,375.8 square kilometers (13,658.7 sq mi) and a population of 262,684 according to the 2012 census.

For appointment as a Senior Supervisor, a candidate must:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Degree from a recognized University preferably in Agricultural Sciences, Statistics, Social Sciences, Community Development and any otherrelated disciplines
• Must be computer literate and able to use a tablet
• Must be able to communicate in Kiswahili, and English.
• The supervisors will also be identified from county government staff. Considerationwill begiven to the civil servants in the county.
• Senior County officers and subject matter specialists at Sub-county or County level;
• Experience on personnel management, supervision, extension and data collection advantageg) Participation in similar exercises will be an added advantage
