Job Description

Symphony Technologies is a large and well-established IT company headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, with a corporate history that goes back 35 years. It has offices in Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for industrial and commercial scale UPS, AVC, batteries, switchgear and maintenance services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the industrial sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide customers with optimal solutions and after-sales support.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market feedback.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Symphony Technologies Limited.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing or related course
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in selling industrial and commercial scale UPS, AVC, batteries, switchgear and maintenance services.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial market and customer needs.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
