Job Description

Armaan Limited has been serving the East African sector since 1995 distributing leading natural health supplements and natural body care products from trusted brands.

Stock Controller

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Inspection: Accept deliveries, verify quantities, batch numbers and expiry dates against purchase orders, and inspect products for damage or expiration.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately track stock levels, perform regular physical counts, and ensure records match the physical inventory. Ensure FIFO system is maintained
  • Storage and Organization: Store products according to temperature requirements and other regulations, and keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and issue products for distribution, ensuring all orders are accurate and authorized.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including proper disposal of expired or damaged goods.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all stock movements and assist with bill processing and reporting.
  • Support: Assist with other warehouse activities, such as packing for distribution or managing supplies, and help with data entry.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report to management on short expiry stock and slow moving stock.
  • Record keeping: Record damaged and expired stock and ensure inventory updated by finance. Liaise with finance and procurement for
  • destruction of expired and damaged stock.
  • Supervise and motivate the stores assistants
  • Ensure 100% accuracy of product picked with correct batches

Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree or diploma in business management or procurement and stores management.
  • Experience: Previous experience of minimum 2 years in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, is beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Other Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, physical stamina, and good communication abilities.
  • Knowledge: Team player, High integrity and attentive to detail.
