Mission To facilitate member health units in their provision of quality healthcare services through advocacy, health systems strengthening, networking and innovative health programme

Summary Profile

CHAK Business Services Limited (CBSL), a limited company established by Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK) is seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-driven and results oriented Strategy and Marketing Manager to lead Strategy development, market surveillance, brand promotion and Marketing Plan development/implementation for competitive edge and business growth in the fields of hospitality industry, medical equipment and technology sales and services. The position is based in Nairobi and reports to the Board of Directors through the Finance & Investment Committee.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct market analysis.
  • Lead/coordinate development of Business Strategy
  • Support products development.
  • Develop a Marketing Plan
  • Coordinate implementation of marketing plan
  • Design and implement customer needs assessment.
  • Undertake customer experience surveys and prepare reports.
  • Support branding and marketing of hospitality Services, Medical Equipment Services and Hospital management software (CHMIS software).
  • Present periodic reports to the Board of Directors through the Finance & Investment Committee
  • Lead aggressive marketing campaign for the CBS Ltd and its’ products.
  • Monitor dynamics in the market and the regulatory policy environment and advise on any necessary business strategy adjustment.
  • Ensure business regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure effective supervision, support and performance monitoring of staff assigned in the company.
  • Administratively liaise with General Secretary Office and CHAK Departments for information sharing and support.
  • Any other lawful duties that may be assigned by the Board of Directors that is within the scope and nature of the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or post Graduate degree in strategy, marketing or any other relevant business management field
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing or other relevant professional body
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills
  • Market surveillance and good analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience in general computer applications
  • At least 5 years demonstrable experience in marketing and strategy in a busy environment
  • People management skills to drive performance.
