Qualifications

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pediatric Nursing from a recognized and accredited university.
• Master’s degree in Pediatric Nursing from a recognized and accredited university.
• At least three (3) years of university teaching and research experience at the level of Tutorial Fellow/Assistant Lecturer or three (3) years’ experience in research or in industry.
• Minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers.
• A valid Practicing License issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, innovation, mentorship, and community engagement.

• Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized and accredited university.
• At least three (3) years of university teaching and research experience at the level of Tutorial Fellow/Assistant Lecturer or three (3) years’ experience in research or in industry.
• Minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers.

• Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance from a recognized and accredited university.
• At least three (3) years of university teaching and research experience at the level of Tutorial Fellow/Assistant Lecturer or three (3) years’ experience in research or in industry.
• Minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed journal papers.
• CPA (K) Certification.
• Registered with a relevant professional body, preferably ICPAK.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, innovation, mentorship, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Nursing/Midwifery from recognized and accredited universities.
• Registered or registerable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing or a related discipline in a recognized university.
• Valid Annual Practicing License issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.
• Evidence of potential for university teaching, research, and scholarly publication.

Minimum Requirements for appointment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized and accredited institution
• Be a registered member of Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) in goood standing;
• Hold a valid and current Practicing License issued by KMLTTB.
• Experience in a busy hospital clinical laboratory and/or a university health sciences teaching laboratory or a registered tertiary-level clinical research laboratory will be an added advantage;
• Demonstrate merit and ability in facilitating practical demonstrations, managing laboratory equipment, or supervising students in an academic or training setup; and
• Proficiency in computer applications;

Minimum Requirements for appointment:

• Bachelors Degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management or relevant field from recognized and accredited universities;
• Have three (3) years work experience as a Assistant Catering Officer Grade 9 or comparable position.
• Computer literate.

Duties and responsibilities at this level entails; –

• Coordinate all the catering services within the University.
• Prepare quarterly income and expenditure reports.
• Present regular reports on operational matters.
• Develop and review catering policies, procedures and processes..
• Prepare annual budgets, procurement and work plans.
• Organize health examination for food handlers to ensure compliance; and

Minimum Requirements for appointment:

• Be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or Environmental Health from a recognized and accredited institution;
• Hold a valid and current Practicing License from the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council (PHOTC).
• Be a registered member of Association of Public Health Officers- Kenya (APHOK) in goood standing;
• Technical & Operational skills required;
• Practical Demonstration & Instruction: Ability to design, set up, and facilitate practical experiments, skills lab sessions, and field demonstrations for public health trainees.
•  Environmental & Diagnostic Testing: Proficiency in conducting microbiological, physical, and chemical analysis of water, soil, effluent and food samples.
• WASH & Vector Control Operations: Hands-on expertise in water quality monitoring, sanitation technology applications, pest/vector surveillance and disease control protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance & SOP Management: Ability to calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage inventories for laboratory/field equipment, as well as author and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Demonstrate merit and ability in facilitating practical demonstrations, managing laboratory equipment, or supervising students in an academic or training setup;
• Have a proven track record in executing field-based public health interventions, food inspections, or environmental monitoring; and
• Proficiency in computer applications;

 Minimum Requirements for appointment:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized and accredited institution;
• A holder of a certificate in clinical instruction for Physiotherapy;
• Hold a valid and current Practicing License from the Physiotherapy council of Kenya;
• Be a registered member of Kenya Society for Physiotherapists in goood standing;
• Working experience in a busy clinical set up in a teaching hospital will be an added advantage
• Demonstrate merit and ability in facilitating practical demonstrations, managing laboratory equipment, or supervising students in an academic or training setup; and
• Proficiency in computer applications;
