Regional Sales Executive-Western

Role Purpose Statement:

  • Under the general direction of the Sales and Distribution Manager, the Regional Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of the airline’s commercial strategy. This role includes identifying and converting new customers, nurturing and expanding relationships with existing customers and business partners, and actively supporting sales and marketing initiatives. They oversee station sales teams, business partner engagement, corporate account development, and regional marketing activations, ensuring achievement of revenue, load factor, and customer growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, passenger growth, and market share targets across assigned stations.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities by leading targeted sales prospecting, executive-level client engagement, and strategic market penetration initiatives.
  • Drive brand equity and demand generation by providing strategic leadership in regional sales activations, high-impact marketing campaigns, and integrated promotional programs.
  • Cultivate and deepen strategic partnerships with travel agents, corporate accounts, and key ecosystem stakeholders to strengthen loyalty, enhance commercial conversion, and secure sustainable revenue streams.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation at all touchpoints including sales offices, operational areas, business partner premises, events and customer engagements.
  • Drive the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business through regular sales visits and tactical market engagements.
  • Champion product adoption and revenue maximization by delivering strategic education on Jambojet’s revenue product offerings, enabling effective upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Optimize regional sales performance and serve as the primary escalation point for frontline sales and ticketing teams, delivering rapid resolution of operational and stakeholder challenges to ensure service continuity and minimize business disruption.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of funds for sales activities, promotions and trade engagements.
  • Enforce rigorous financial governance by ensuring accurate and timely sales reconciliation, with full transparency and real-time updates to centralized reconciliation systems for Finance and audit compliance.
  • Deliver actionable market intelligence by systematically capturing customer insights, monitoring competitive dynamics, and analyzing industry trends to inform enterprise-level strategy and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a Degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in sales, with a 2-year track record of leading a team and achieving sales targets, preferably in the aviation or travel industry.
  • Certifications: Professional sales or marketing certifications are an advantage.

 

Sales & Ticketing Agent-Kisumu

Role Purpose Statement:

  • Under the general guidance of the Sales Supervisor, the Sales and Ticketing Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting customer retention. The role involves processing flight bookings and transactions accurately, offering the best available fares, managing customer interactions professionally, and promoting Jambojet products and services to enhance revenue and strengthen customer loyalty

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively offer the best available fares, generate sales, and ensure 100% accuracy in fare quotations and revenue collection.
  • Meet and exceed individual and station sales targets by effectively upselling and cross- selling Jambojet products and services.
  • Engage and support prospective and existing customers to build loyalty and contribute to long-term business growth.
  • Provide accurate information on flight schedules, fares, promotions, and travel requirements to support informed customer decisions.
  • Assist customers with queries related to bookings, cancellations, refunds, and other ticketing services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback courteously, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Perform accurate daily reconciliation of sales returns, maintain up-to-date records and reports, and aim for minimal or zero reservation-related OTIs to demonstrate operational accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless and positive travel experience for customers.
  • Safeguard company property at the sales office and comply with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and company security policies.
  • Contribute ideas to improve products, processes, and customer experiences, and participate actively in company initiatives that support a culture of innovation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and stay updated with industry and system changes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Travel and Tourism or Related Discipline. Diploma in IATA/UFTAA Foundation or Consultant Level is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in airline or travel agency fares and ticketing is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications. Membership to professional bodies is an added advantage.

Lead Sales Executive

  • Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Executive, the Senior Sales Agent is responsible for overseeing station sales operations (ATO/CTO), providing comprehensive operational support to Business Partners (travel agents and corporate clients) and high value customers within the assigned station. The role ensures the timely resolution of Business Partner and frontline operational issues, facilitates effective communication between station teams and Head Office, and supports local sales initiatives to enhance partner satisfaction and station performance. The Senior Sales Agent also supports initiatives aimed at customer acquisition, retention and overall station sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive station sales performance by proactively selling tickets, ancillary, and other products ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the station’s sales outlets (ATO/CTO), ensuring smooth functioning, compliance, customer satisfaction, and business continuity.
  • Act as the primary escalation and support point for Sales and Ticketing Agents, Business
  • Partners (travel agents and corporates), and high value customers, resolving booking, ticketing, system, customer service, and operational issues in coordination with relevant teams (Sales, IS, Finance, Revenue Management).
  • Provide operational support to Business Partners by assisting with bookings, ticketing, policies, system guidance, and addressing day-to-day operational concerns to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Support frontline teams by handling complex bookings, reissues, refunds, disruption cases, ancillary sales, and other customer-service matters that require advanced knowledge.
  • Manage CTO/ATO manpower, including preparation of staff rosters, ensuring adequate staffing levels, efficient shift assignments, and uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Supervise daily revenue and operational activities, including sales reporting, queue management, cash-handling compliance, ticketing accuracy, and error resolution.
  • Maintain strong and proactive relationships with Business Partners and corporate clients through regular visits, provision of system support, product updates, feedback collection, and partner education on Jambojet products and policies.
  • Drive and support station-level sales initiatives, marketing activations, and customer-engagement activities aimed at increasing revenue, enhancing brand visibility, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate commercial and operational communication between station teams and the Key sales executive or Station Supervisor, ensuring alignment, timely reporting, and execution of sales and service priorities.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational standards, safety guidelines, and service-level procedures across ATO/CTO and station sales activities.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports, including partner interactions, operational logs, escalations, ticketing error trackers, follow-up records, and manpower updates.
  • Participate in and support special projects, new system implementations, process improvements, and initiatives aimed at enhancing station efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A minimum of a Degree in Business Administration, Travel and Tourism, or Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in sales or helpdesk support, preferably in the Aviation, Travel & Hospitality industry.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications. Membership in professional bodies is an added advantage.
