Office Administrator II

 Qualifications

  • Craft/Certificate
  • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the KNEC or equivalent from a recognized institution; OR
    • Typewriting III 50wpm
    • Shorthand III (100) wpm
    • Business English III /Communication II
    • Commerce II office Management III / Office Administration and Management III
    • Secretarial Duties II
  • Office Practice II (viii) Proficiency in Computer Applications (ix) Membership of Kenya National Secretaries Association and
  • Meet Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

Principal Administration Officer

 Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
  • Served in the grade of Senior Administration Officer for at least three (3) years OR a minimum period of six (6) years work experience, three (3) of which must have been in a Supervisory position in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration/Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resource Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; OR Bachelors degree in Social Sciences with a Post Graduate Diploma in either Public Administration, Human Resource Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Administrative Officers Examination;
  • Membership to a recognized professional body and in good standing; (v) Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; and
  • Meet Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

Principal Human Resource Development Officer

 Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
  • Served in the grade of Senior Human Resource Development Officer for at least three (3) years OR a minimum period of six (6) years work experience, three (3) of which must have been in a Supervisory position in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/ Development, Education or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences with a Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management/ Development, Education or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Membership to the relevant and accredited professional body of Human Resource Management Practitioners and in good standing;
  • Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; and (v) Meet Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010.

 

Principal Office Administrator

 Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Served at the level of Senior Office Administrator for at least three (3) years OR a minimum period of nine (9) years work experience in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies/Social Science/Business Office Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
    • Typewriting III 50wpm/Computerized Document Processing III
    • Shorthand III (120) wpm; v) Business English III /Communication II;
    • Commerce II; vii) Office Management III / Office Administration and Management III;
    • Secretarial Duties II;
    • Office Practice II;
    • Certificate in Computer Applications;
    • Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Secretarial Management Course from a recognized institution;
  • Membership of Kenya National Secretaries Association; and
  • Meet Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010. OR
  •  Served at the level of Senior Office Administrator for at least three (3) years OR a minimum period of nine (9) years work experience in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector
  • Higher Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the KNEC or equivalent from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Computer Applications; iv) Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
  • Certificate in Secretarial Management Course from a recognized institution;
  • Membership of Kenya National Secretaries Association; and
  • Meet Chapter Six (6) of the constitution of Kenya 2010.
