CAD Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Design & Drafting
  • Develop comprehensive CAD drawings for various structures, including residential units, warehouses, offices, apartments, staircases, trusses, portal frames, ponds, dams, and water towers.
  • Generate and update electrical and plumbing schematics.
  • Create and maintain detailed site maps for Victory Farms locations.
  • Site Visits & Measurement
  • Conduct physical site inspections to gather measurements and produce accurate sketches.
  • Provide on-site technical guidance to teams, ensuring alignment between plans and real world conditions, and troubleshooting any arising discrepancies.
  • Documentation & Records Management
  • Organize, archive, and manage all technical drawings and documents for secure and efficient retrieval by authorized personnel.
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Engage proactively with project managers, supervisors, and stakeholders to communicate drawing updates and modifications.
  • Technical Problem-Solving
  • Identify construction challenges and propose cost-effective design solutions aligned with functional and aesthetic standards.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology, Building and Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification with demonstrable proficiency in AutoCAD
  • 5-7 years of experience using AutoCAD and related design software (e.g., MEP, Structural, and Schematic drafting).
  • Proven leadership capability in guiding teams and offering strategic technical advice.
  • Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD).a

Steel Construction Supervisor

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting, steel production highly preferred
  • Diploma in Welding and Fabrication, or a related qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or Metal Processing
  • Specific certifications in welding, fabrication, or quality control are advantageous
  • Strong understanding of steel production processes, equipment, and QA procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Solid foundation in construction methods, materials, and sequencing
