Logistics and Warehouse Assistant Manager

About the Role

  • We are seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Assistant Manager to lead and elevate our logistics and warehouse function by enhancing its developments and in accordance with local, regional, segment, and corporate objectives and guidelines. Strong leadership will be key in ensuring achievement of overall objectives related to safety, profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, service, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Warehouse and Logistics team, to develop, coach, and guide members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet current and future needs.
  • Implement and monitor procedures and guidelines to ensure Warehouse and Logistics activities are compliant with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001, and the HSEQ Management system.
  • Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities through agreed KPIs.
  • Run efficient freight and warehouse tenders, and research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods in cooperation with Purchasing.
  • Set transportation operations guidelines, monitor delivery performance, review and approve transportation contracts, and advise on delivery improvements.
  • Maintain the right stock levels, and arrange stock counting and activities to ensure correct inventory is displayed in the system.
  • Manage warehouse operations like receiving and picking, quality control, and expiry date follow-up.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing optimal layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement.

Requirements

  • At a minimum, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management/Operations Management/Business Administration.
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics and Warehouse role, and a minimum of four years of proven leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards and regulations in Kenya, and the ability to implement and monitor company-wide compliance programs.
  • Well conversant with end-to-end freight/customs procedures and regulations in Kenya.
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, distribution and procurement/purchasing processes.

  • Leadership and team development, initiative and accountability, negotiation and persuasion, methodical planning, sound judgment, clear communication, adaptability in dynamic environments.

Nurse Lead & Reliever

About the Role

  • We are looking for a qualified and experienced Nurse Lead & Reliever to provide quality clinical care, support daily clinic operations, and ensure high standards of patient care, safety, infection control, and documentation.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Care & Patient Management

  • Provide quality clinical assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Handle medical emergencies, first aid, referrals, and specialist consultations through mDaktari.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in continuous medical education.

Preventive Health & Wellness

  • Provide health education, counseling, and wellness guidance.
  • Promote preventive healthcare and healthy living.

Safety & Infection Control

  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
  • Maintain first-aid supplies, clinic hygiene, and proper waste management.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate patient records through the EMR system.
  • Prepare and submit timely clinical and operational reports.

Clinic Operations

  • Support daily clinic operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure availability of medical supplies and proper stock management.
  • Take responsibility for clinic operations when serving as the Nurse Lead and provide coverage when working as a Reliever.

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN).
  • Valid NCK license and retention.
  • First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Experience in outpatient, community, or primary healthcare.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or clinic coordination role is an added advantage.

About the Role

  • Provide clinical care, first aid, treatment, and follow-up for students and staff.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate referrals when required.
