SME Relationship Officer – Nakuru

Responsibility Summary:

  • Develop, maintain and expand SME client portfolio
  • Grow branch fees and commissions through targeted product and service offering to the SME portfolio
  • Proactively manage credit applications to reduce the possibility of NPA.
  • Grow profitability, product penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Relationship management through customer acquisition and retention in line with the Bank’s strategy
  • Market the Bank’s services and products to increase business Growth

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, economics, finance or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in banking operations, SME banking.
  • Strong knowledge of local banking industry, banking products, banking services and banking regulations.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Proficiency in marketing and selling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Sound financial management skills and proficiency in analyzing financial data.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.

Responsibility Summary:

  • Collection and recovery management; managing the written off books by engaging clients to regularize accounts.
  • Customer satisfaction; ensure timely resolution of client complaints and proposals adhering to agreed turnaround times.
  • Adherence to recovery process; maintaining and updating physical and digital files regularly.

Academic & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3 years of banking experience with in credit, PQM,.
  • Good understanding in credit policies and guidelines, Banking Act, IFRS and other relevant statutes in banking.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Ability to effectively negotiate and persuade customers to resolve outstanding debts.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and changing business dynamics.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
  • High integrity, professionalism, results driven and proactive approach.
  • Ability to analyze information and draw conclusions for effective decision making.

 

Senior Recoveries Officer: NPA Collection & Litigation

Responsibility Summary:

  • Management of the collection and litigation allocated portfolio.
  • Customer satisfaction; ensure timely resolution of client complaints and proposals adhering to agreed turnaround times.
  • Adherence to documented recovery processes and procedures; maintaining and updating physical and digital files regularly.

Academic & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field.
  • 4 years of banking experience especially in credit, PQM, Recoveries.
  • Good understanding in credit policies and guidelines, Banking Act, IFRS and other relevant statutes in banking.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Ability to effectively negotiate and persuade customers to resolve outstanding debts.

Relationship Officer – Car and Consumer

Responsibility Summary:

  • Credit application and financial analysis, to adhere to pricing and SLAs.
  • Analyze customer needs while building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Manage asset financial portfolio quality, identifying opportunities for business growth and effective mobilization of asset finance.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, while ensuring efficient credit approval process, due diligence and monitoring.

Academic & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field.
  • 3 years of banking experience with at least 2 years in sales.
  • Strong credit skills, and good understanding of SME and Corporate banking products.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Effective communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
  • Skilled in sales targeting, promoting bank services and meeting sales goals.
  • Efficient in time management, prioritizing customer needs to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong ability to manage relationships with car dealers, employers and both existing and prospective Asset Finance customers.
  • High integrity, professionalism, results driven and proactive approach.
