Job Description

CDL was founded in early 2003 by its current Managing Director Lucy Mmari.Within her 14 year tenure in a well established logistics company, She honed her skill in human resources management and thereafter started CDL.

Tax Clerk

Purpose of the Position:

  • To ensure that the administrative duties in relation to tax and accounts payable are carried out to the Required standards to achieve the company’s financial and business objectives.
  • Generating tax returns for filing with KRA
  • Prepare and generate reports related to tax filings for internal use and for clients.
  • Provide summaries and detailed breakdowns of tax liabilities and returns.
  • Support with Monthly tax reconciliations.
  • Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems and records.
  • Ensure easy retrieval of tax documents when needed.
  • Facilitate and maintain effective internal and external customer relations.
  • Regularly update databases with current tax information and client details.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of tax forms, Invoices and documents submitted by Vendors.
  • Check for completeness and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Follow Withholding tax receipting from AP transactions.
  • Address client inquiries related to tax filing status and requirements.
  • Help in the preparation of documents and information required for tax audits.
  • Provide support during the audit process by organizing and presenting necessary records.
  • Support With any other Ap related work on request.

Requirements

Quality Assurance Representative

Key Outputs

  • (Products, services, programs and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organization’s mission and strategy)
  • Monitor and evaluate touchpoint representatives (where possible)
  • Provide feedback to representatives with regards to their quality performance
  • Complete feedback sheets
  • Identify and escalate training needs
  • Report Deviances from Standard Operating Procedures to Supervisors
  • Coach CSRs
  • Managed conflict related to QA Audits.
  • Evaluate and recommend processes and procedures of Operations Divisions

Requirements

COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum first degree in social sciences or a business related field
  • An additional focused Call Centre qualification and/or Diploma in Customer Services Management will be an added advantage
  • 3 years of working experience at the Call Centre or in the Service Industry with some supervisory level experience
  • Experience at technology oriented service firms; Mobile telephony, BPO call centres, etc.will be an added advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate to produce results

HR Projects Officer

  • The HR Projects Officer role will involve assisting in planning, implementing, and coordinating HR-related consultancy projects. The main tasks will include developing and implementing workplans for HR consultancies, supporting and tracking project execution, providing administrative support to consultants, assisting in clients and stakeholder’s engagement, and generating project reports.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing project HR workplans and timelines for consultancies
  • Tracking HR consultancy project progress, milestones, and deliverables
  • Providing technical support in end to end recruitment process
  • Providing technical support in execution of projects such as development of HR policies, conducting HR audits, HR surveys, job evaluation among others
  • Assist in designing training programs, sourcing facilitators, and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Communicating project status, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders promptly
  • Supporting the implementation of new HR programs and processes for HR clients and identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and systems
  • Ensuring HR processes and operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience as a HR generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g, CHRP) is a plus.
  • Experience in developing HR policies, conducting job evaluations, and HR audits.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience in managing multiple HR projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage and manage stakeholders (clients, consultants, and internal teams).

 

Commercial Sales Manager – Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive commercial strategies, including market entry and optimal pricing models, aligned with organizational P&L goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and forge high-value, strategic alliances and channel partnerships within the industrial and commercial sectors.
  • Lead and finalize principal contract negotiations (e.g., PPAs, EPCs), ensuring robust risk mitigation and corporate compliance.
  • Directly manage and grow the company’s portfolio of largest and most strategic commercial and industrial accounts.
  • Rigorously analyze key financial performance metrics, revenue streams, and conduct commercial due diligence on major projects.
  • Collaborate intensively with technical, operations, and finance executives to ensure commercial models translate into feasible project execution.
  • Manage strategic risk assessments related to key accounts and projects, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Represent the company in industry associations, regulatory forums, and major commercial events to enhance influence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Engineering. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive senior-level experience in Commercial Management, Business Development, or Corporate Strategy within the Renewable energy, infrastructure, or complex project-based industries.
  • Proven success in managing large P&L statements and driving strategic, high-margin revenue growth.

 

Technical Sales Executive – Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients within the energy sector.
  • Present and promote the company technical solutions to prospective customers.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions aligned with client needs.
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments to inform customized solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain client databases and report sales performance metrics.
  • Support marketing and brand visibility initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering Sector.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical or solution-based sales within the renewable energy.
  • Proven ability to translate technical features into commercial value.

 

Technical Sales Manager – Renewable Energy

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine the annual sales strategy for technical products and services.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor the technical sales team to achieve ambitious departmental sales targets.
  • Own and manage the departmental sales forecast, ensuring high levels of accuracy and reporting performance to senior management.
  • Oversee all major tender submissions, bid management processes, and contract negotiations for technical projects.
  • Conduct deep market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and project teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with high-value clients and strategic industry partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the sales process, methodologies, and team efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership role within the renewable energy sector
  • A demonstrable track record of successfully leading teams to exceed sales targets.
