Field Electrical Engineers

Job Summary

Provide on-site electrical engineering support for safe, reliable operation and maintenance of electrical systems across production facilities and camp infrastructure. Lead electrical fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance execution, technical assurance of contractor work, and support capital/upgrade projects to maintain availability and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Chartered/registered status desirable where applicable.
  • Relevant electrical trade experience and field engineering background preferred.

 

Graduate Electrical Engineers

Job Summary

Provide entry-level electrical engineering support for safe and reliable operation of power and electrical systems at the field facility and camp. Support fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, test activities, documentation and technical coordination under supervision while developing practical field competency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years’ practical experience; industrial placements, internships or final-year project work in power/process environments advantageous.

 

Graduate Facilities Engineer

Job Summary

Provide operational and analytical support to the Facilities Manager in planning, coordinating and optimising field operations. Support performance monitoring, reporting, logistics coordination, workpack preparation and cross-functional communication to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective field execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
  • 0–2 years’ relevant experience; internships or placements in operations, asset management or field support advantageous.

 

Graduate Mechanical Engineers

Job Summary

Provide entry-level mechanical engineering support for safe, reliable operation and maintenance of rotating and static equipment on field assets. Support inspections, preventive maintenance, breakdown response, documentation and small works under supervision while developing practical field competency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years’ practical experience; internships, industrial placements or final-year project work in rotating equipment, plant operations or maintenance advantageous.

 

Graduate Process Engineers

Job Summary

Support safe and efficient operation of the oil processing facility by assisting with process monitoring, production optimisation, routine testing, troubleshooting and maintenance coordination. Develop practical process engineering skills through supervised involvement in daily operations, incident response and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Petroleum or Process Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 0–2 years’ relevant experience; internships, industrial placements or thesis work in processing/plant operations advantageous.

 

Operations Superintendent

JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for overseeing crude receipt, offloading, storage, inventory control, custody transfer, and export readiness activities at KPRL, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant management of crude oil from transporter delivery through to export. The role serves as the primary Midstream Operations representative at the terminal and is accountable for terminal service delivery, stock integrity, quantity and quality assurance, transit loss management, export verification, and compliance with approved operational procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Petroleum Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in terminal operations, depot operations, inventory management, fuel logistics, or petroleum operations.
  • Experience in inventory reconciliation, custody transfer, quantity assurance, and stock management.
  • Experience managing third-party terminal operations and contractor interfaces.
  • Knowledge of petroleum measurement, reconciliation, loss control, and export verification processes.

 

Production Engineer

Job Summary

Deliver production engineering support to optimize well and facility performance, lead routine well interventions, support artificial lift and flow assurance activities, and provide technical input to production planning and problem resolution. Operate with increasing autonomy to improve uptime and recovery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or relateddiscipline).
  • 5+ years’ practical experience in production engineering, artificial lift support and well interventions.

 

Production Operator

Job Summary

Carry out day-to-day operation and basic maintenance of surface production equipment and wellsite systems to ensure safe, reliable production. Execute routine rounds, monitoring, sampling and basic troubleshooting under supervision, supporting safe and efficient field operations.

Qualifications

  • Technical certificate/diploma in Mechanical, Petroleum, Process Technology or equivalent; trade qualifications advantageous.
  • 1–5 years’ experience in production operations, plant operations or related field work preferred.

 

Senior Production Operators

Job Summary

Lead safe, reliable day-to-day field production operations at wellsites and surface facilities. Supervise production crew activities, ensure equipment integrity and routine maintenance, optimize well performance under operator procedures, and act as first-line escalation for operational issues in remote onshore environments.

Qualifications

  • Technical certificate/diploma in Mechanical, Petroleum, Process Technology, or
  • equivalent; trade qualifications advantageous. Minimum 5+ years’ field production/operator experience with at least 2 years in a senior or lead operator role in onshore production operations.

 

Senior Production Technologist

Job Summary

Provide technical leadership in production engineering and well performance to optimize hydrocarbon recovery, improve uptime and support safe, cost-effective field operations. Lead deliverables on production surveillance, artificial lift, well performance diagnostics and production enhancement studies, and guide multidisciplinary interventions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years’ experience in production engineering/technologist roles with progressive responsibility; experience across artificial lift and well intervention preferred.
