Portfolio Manager, Corporate & Mortgage Loans

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitoring credit risks for facilities under Grade 10 and Grade 20 to avert migration to NPL both at branch level and Regional Portfolio Management Office level.
  • Ensure compliance of all projects for construction facilities to conditions precedent and milestones are achieved upto completion of the projects.
  • Reviewing loan documentation, confirm compliance checks against KCB manuals, policies and statutory regulations before disbursement of construction funds and syndicated facilities.
  • Manage the staff-on-exit portfolio by ensuring timely conversion to public terms and timely payments to minimize migration to NPL status as well as ensure staff and ex staff overdrawn accounts are promptly regularized.
  • Ensure bank’s facilities are adequately secured upon completion of construction projects.
  • Follow up on insurance renewals to achieve 100% compliance, with the Bank’s interest (KCB Kenya) duly noted in respect to the mortgage facilities under construction.
  • Generate timely and analyze Management Information (MI) reports for effective portfolio control and comply with the regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to covenants for corporate portfolio and assist with resolution of covenant breaches within the stipulated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Action on file maintenance reports on booked facilities to ensure data accuracy and enable early remedial action where discrepancies are identified.
  • Maintain and update the deferrals register and the exceptions collaterals register for both Corporate and Mortgage portfolios.
  • Approve the release of securities for corporate customers and performance bonds for staff upon successful completion of staff loan construction projects.

Head of Products (Retail)

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management

  • Define and execute the Retail product strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate: Academic, Professional & Experience:

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) will be an added advantage
  • Professional qualification in Product Management, Banking, Marketing, or Management (e.g., CIM, CMI, CPM, ACIB) will be an added advantage

Senior Relationship Manager Custody Services

Main Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Source New Business, expand and retain existing client relationships with a focus on global custody business, to increase market share and profitability.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and identification of repeat and new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing designated portfolio of clients through continuous reviews and identification of client needs.

Senior Manager, Digital Payments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Define the bank’s digital payments, wealth and investments product portfolio strategy ensuring alignment to the division and the bank’s overall strategy to deliver set KPIs and seek peer and senior management alignment.
  • Develop commercial models that directly impact top-line revenue and bottom-line operating costs while delivering best in class product experiences across our channels
  • Coordinate the implementation of activities across assigned products in partnership with marketing and customer experience to drive customer engagement to grow NPS & reduce CES, grow product as per set KPIs
  • Daily drive of the assigned digital payments, wealth and investments portfolio performance in partnership with other divisions to ensure customer uptake, usage of the products, reduction in attrition & churn and effective recovery of customers as well as consideration of regulatory requirements.
  • Launch and scale payment features across mobile apps, wallets, and embedded platforms, ensuring seamless, secure and intuitive payment journeys with high adoption.
  • Collaborate with partners e.g. fintechs, payment networks, etc. and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Liaise with the vendors & technology teams to ensure correct definition, implementation and documentation of product requirements for new products and customizations of existing to meet specific customer needs.
