Job Description
Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013. Study Coordinator – Kajiado
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with study investigators to plan and deliver the research work.
- Prepare study materials including training materials and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare work plans aligned to project deliverables.
- Co-ordinate and oversee data collection and management including data quality checks, storage and archiving.
- Supervise research assistants attached to the Project.
- Co-ordinate adherence to funder’s technical and financial requirements.
- Ensure compliance with policies on ethical conduct of research and human subjects protections.
- Carry out any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Vacancy Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Biomedical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Public Health, any relevant Social Science, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution. Mandatory
