Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with study investigators to plan and deliver the research work.
• Prepare study materials including training materials and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare work plans aligned to project deliverables.
• Co-ordinate and oversee data collection and management including data quality checks, storage and archiving.
• Supervise research assistants attached to the Project.
• Co-ordinate adherence to funder’s technical and financial requirements.
• Ensure compliance with policies on ethical conduct of research and human subjects protections.
• Carry out any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Vacancy Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Biomedical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Public Health, any relevant Social Science, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.    Mandatory
• Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Biomedical Sciences, Applied Sciences, Public Health, any relevant Social Science, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.    Mandatory
• At least four (4) years of relevant hands-on experience working in field-based studies.    Mandatory
• Competent use of MS Office applications. Experience in electronic data collection and management is an added advantage.    Added Advantage
• Fluency in English, Kiswahili, required. Maasai Language is an added advantage.    Added Advantage
• Experience in participatory research methods is an added advantage.    Added Advantage
• Prior experience in a similar post is an added advantage.    Added Advantage
• Ability and willingness to work anywhere in Kajiado County.    Mandatory
