Lecturer Human Anatomy

Key responsibilities: –

  • Teach and asses courses in medical physiology to both undergraduate and postgraduate students;
  • Supervise postgraduate students;
  • Initiate, promote and participate in research projects;
  • Attend and participate in seminars, workshops and conference in relevant fields;
  • Participate in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of curricula in the department;
  • Participate in departmental and School Board meetings and other activities;
  • Conduct community service and initiate linkages;
  • Any other official duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Personal attributes: –

  • Proficient in computer skills;
  • Self-motivated and highly disciplined;
  • Possess excellent command of the subject area, including adept lesson planning;
  • Capable of managing ambiguity and emotions;
  • Adaptability to technological changes;
  • Excellent communication, listening, and mediation skills;
  • Strong in fundraising and grants writing abilities;
  • Demonstrates outstanding presentation and research writing skills.

Minimum education qualifications and Professional Experience: –

  • A relevant Bachelor,s degree or its equivalent from a recognized University;
  • A Master,s degree or its equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized University/College is mandatory;
  • A PhD. in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage;
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred;
  • Must be registered by relevant professional body;
  • Must satisfy requirements of chapter 6 of the Kenyan Constitution.

 

Lecturer Obstetrics/Gynecology

Key responsibilities: –
