Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have: –

• Degree in any of the following disciplines: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Information Communication Technology or
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
• Should have a background training in Competency-Based Education (CBET)
• An applicant in possession of Pedagogy and TVETA Registration and Licensing will have an added advantage.
• Demonstrated competence in ICT instruction, practical training, and learner assessment.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• One who is reliable and of high integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus.
• Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work.
• Setting and marking examination/assignment.
• Supervision of trainees on attachment.
• Instructing, guiding and evaluation of trainees in practical exercises.
• Reporting progress and overall performance of individual trainees.
• Participating in development of curriculum and training programmes.
• Undertaking/ carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer.
• Deliver competency-based training in ICT programmes.
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials.
• Maintain training records and workshop/laboratory equipment.

For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:

• Diploma in Information Communication Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• An applicant in possession of Pedagogy and TVETA Registration and Licensing will have an added advantage.
• An applicant skilled in Co-curricular activities that complement classroom learning and help students develop practical skills for instance, drama and theatre will have an added advantage.
• Demonstrated practical skills in ICT training and laboratory/workshop management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of competency-based practical training..
• Prepare and maintain ICT laboratories and training equipment.
• Assist in learner assessment and supervision during practical sessions.
• Maintain accurate training and equipment records.
• Support curriculum implementation and departmental activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the institution.

Requirements for Appointment

• Craft Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Electrical Operator level 5.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Liaising with relevant authorities, stakeholders, contractors, and service providers on matters concerning electrical power supply.
• Maintain inventory for all tools, machines and equipment’s in the Workshop/Laboratory.
• Preparing preventive maintenance schedules of the items.
• Ensuring compliance with both Statutory and Polytechnic’s safety protocol regarding operation of Workshops/Laboratory.
• Supporting the smooth running of the Department Workshop/Laboratory.
• Working hand in hand with the workshop practice trainers when preparing materials for practical lessons.
• Maintaining work area, tools/machines/equipment cleaners and proper operations.
• Coordinating the planning, implementation, and monitoring of electrical power supply projects and activities within the Institution

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planting, weeding and harvesting crops.
• Feeding, watering and caring for livestock.
• Cleaning animal sheds pens and farm environment.
• Operating and maintaining basic farm tools and machinery.
• Sorting, grading and packing harvested produce.
• Repairing and maintaining farm structures.
• Monitoring the health of crops and livestock and reporting any issues.
• Keeping the farm clean, organized, and safe.
• Following farm safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Assisting with general farm maintenance and other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have: –

• Craft Certificate in Welding and Fabrication or Welding and Fabrication Level 5.
• A candidate in possession of National Trade Test I certificate in any of the following areas of specialization will have an added advantage: Carpentry and Joinery, Turning and Fitting, Plumbing, Welding and Fabricating or Painting from National Industrial Training Authority or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
• One who is reliable and of high integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assembling and maintaining various components of welding equipment.
• Performing regular maintenance on equipment and machines within the Institution.
• Responding to welding emergencies, repairs and welding issues.
• Providing end users with cost estimates and quotes for repairs and maintenance.
• Interpreting blueprints and welding specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with local welding and safety regulations.
• Cutting, assembling, and welding of parts for proper operation.
• Preparing trainee sessions and materials for practicals.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed.

• Background training in Competency-Based Education Training(CBET)
• Pedagogy in Education, training, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) Registration, Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable will be an added advantage
• One who is reliable and of high integrity.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
