Job Description

Mwananchi Credit Limited was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act (Cap 486) of the Laws of Kenya. It initially started operations under the names Mwananchi Microlink Ltd which was incorporated on 15th April 2010. On 10th January 2012, it later changed its names to Mwananchi Credit Limited.

Mwananchi Credit Limited seeks to employ competent personnel to fill the following vacant positions:

Asset Finance & Trade Finance Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketers in asset & trade finance Drive client acquisition
  • Oversee origination & compliance
  • Identify market gaps & tailor solutions.
  • Track metrics & report performance Support product development & retention

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years in credit, asset, or trade finance Proven record in team leadership and client growth

 

Product Manager Check Off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in designing and delivering checkoff products Customer-centric product development
  • Excellent project management for product launches
  • Knowledge of payroll lending compliance standards
  • Strong financial acumen and data- driven decisions
  • Proficient in digital tools for product management

 

Product Manager Logbook

Key Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of logbook financing market and regulations
  • Analyze customer data and segment markets
  • Manage and grow a product line Communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in data analysis and financial modeling
  • Results-oriented, meeting and exceeding targets

 

Branch Managers – VOI

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily branch operations and staff performance.
  • Meet sales targets and grow customer base.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence.
  • Handle customer escalations and service quality.
  • Prepare and review branch financial reports.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of banking or financial services experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.

 

Branch Managers – Nairobi

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily branch operations and staff performance.
  • Meet sales targets and grow customer base.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence.
  • Handle customer escalations and service quality.
  • Prepare and review branch financial reports.

  • 3-5+ years of banking or financial services experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
