Job Description

Mwananchi Credit Limited was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act (Cap 486) of the Laws of Kenya. It initially started operations under the names Mwananchi Microlink Ltd which was incorporated on 15th April 2010. On 10th January 2012, it later changed its names to Mwananchi Credit Limited.

Logbook/ Asset Finance Team Leader(s)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Analyze customer data and segment markets
  • Manage and grow a product line
  • Support conversions and growth
  • Track performance & targets

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of logbook financing market and regulations
  • Managing and motivate sales teams Experience in Microfinance Sector

 

Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll support.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience.
  • Proficiency in financial systems

 

Relationship Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships, promote products and generate leads
  • Identify needs, offer solutions and drive sales
  • Handle inquiries, resolve issues and support service delivery
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Business, Finance or related field.
  • Customer-facing experience in banking or finance.
  • Experience in sales, client relations.

 

Front Office Admin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer calls professionally & efficiently
  • Address inquiries, resolve complaints and offer solutions
  • Promote company products and services when applicable
  • Meet daily/weekly performance targets

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum of University degree/diploma
  • At least 1 year work experience as a receptionist, preferably in a financial institution
  • Experience in record keeping/data entry

 

Team Product Lead – Check Off Loans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in designing and delivering checkoff products
  • Customer-centric product development
  • Knowledge of payroll lending compliance standards

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Strong financial acumen and data- driven decisions
  • Knowledge of checkoff financing market and regulations
  • Managing and motivate sales teams

 

Check-Off Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10+ marketers
  • Drive check-off loan uptake
  • Run outreach & field activations
  • Hit targets & grow portfolio
  • Convert leads to active clients
  • Focus on growth & retention

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of checkoff financing market and regulations
  • Managing and motivate sales teams Experience in Microfinance Sector
