Job Description

Outspan Medical College (OMC) is an extension of the Outspan Hospital, the best private hospital in the Mt. Kenya region. The college offers its students a hospital-based training at the Outspan Hospital which is part of the institution.

Full Time Tutor -Intensive Care Medicine (ICM)

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing teaching and learning materials.
  • Adherence to the teaching requirements as per the curriculum.
  • Responsible and accountable in teaching and mentoring students per the laid down procedures at the college
  • Administration of Continuous Assessments Tests.
  • Examination Setting, Administration & Marking
  • Participate in the development and preparation of departmental development plans
  • Participate in administrative, academic and consultancy activities in the department and other organizations activities
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Higher Diploma in Preoperative Theater Technology
  • At least Three years’ experience in an academic set-up
  • Registration with TVETA and KSTVET Certification (pedagogy) will be an added advantage
  • Must possess good presentation skills

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a yearly audit to review the counselling needs and trends in the college, and the extent to which the counselling programs in the college is effective in its implementation, based on the data collected and analyzed.
  • Plan with the support of the principal/ Dean of Students on delivery of routine wellness sessions for students and employees in the college.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Higher National Diploma or Degree in Counselling Psychology from a recognized institution;
  • At least five years’ experience in institutional counselling
  • Previous experience in a training institution will be an added advantage

Clinical Instructor

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
